Stikbow Hunter eMagazine provides the reader with comprehensive information showcasing Traditional Bowhunting within Australia. Information such as Bowhunting Adventures, Product Reviews, How-to’s and generally showcasing Australia’s exciting outdoor recreation of hunting with the Stick and String. However, the future of this eMagazine is solely in the hands of the Traditional Bowhunting community ~ You!
We welcome article and photographic submissions from freelance writers so as to keep this project alive and kicking. Please note that this eMagazine is completely non profit! We are simply trying to bring the Traditional Bowhunting community within Australia a little closer, with the help of sharing our adventures and photos.
It is preferable that those that submit their articles and photos for inclusion within the eMagazine are knowledgeable about Traditional Archery and Bowhunting. Any material submitted, if suitable, will usually be published within the next couple of issues as released after the date of submission.
High quality photos are an important aspect of most submissions, so please ensure that all photos are of high quality (usually 3000 pixels wide/high or larger are sufficient for the eMagazine). All digital photo submissions must be either emailed or sent on CD and in JPEG format of at least 200 dpi. Try to include a broad range of photos so as to give the reader a feel for your article. Don’t forget to include vertical shots as well as you never know, your photo might make the Cover Photo! Please Note: Photos of game taken must be tasteful so please keep em’ clean.
For articles, submissions are preferred in Microsoft Word format or similar. Be aware that Stikbow Hunter eMagazine may modify your text for grammar, punctuation and adjust the general look so as it flows within the format and layout.
